Computer Forensics For Family Law

Thursday, March 25, 2010

The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the California Electronic Discovery Act, and increasingly more state laws governing e-Discovery, are placing more strict guidelines on how electronic evidence is collected and when is must be disclosed.

At Borders McLaughlin, we collect, preserve and analyze electronically stored images (ESI) in a way that preserves the integrity of the evidence collected so it can be used effectively in a legal case.  Most importantly, we ensure the electronic evidence is collected properly and we maintain a clear chain of custody.

You may not think that these guidelines pertain to family law and your practice, but they do!  Computer Forensics can improve the service you provide your clients and the outcomes of their cases.
