BORDERS MCLAUGHLIN SET TO APPEAR AS AN EXPERT IN FAMILY COURT CRISIS ON DR. PHIL SHOW

The show highlighting their solution to “he said she said” court crisis set to air Wednesday, April 14th

IRVINE, Calif. (April 6th, 2010) – John McLaughlin, CEO of Borders McLaughlin, a firm specializing in evidence-based assessments in high-risk court cases, was filmed as an expert on the national Dr. Phil show as an expert talking about his company’s assessment process, the Family Violence Risk Assessment (FVRA). The show is set to air Wednesday, April 14th.

McLaughlin spoke about assessments and the crisis courts currently face trying to make opinions on high risk custody cases that include threats of violence. The show stemmed from the tragic story involving a custody issue in the San Bernardino County area that resulted in a murder suicide of a father and son. The passionate audience was packed with people who feel strongly about the issue and have planned to approach the Dr. Phil show on making court assessments and custody battles an ongoing series. Dr. Phil also asked that Borders McLaughlin use their FVRA, pro-bono, for a Dr. Phil acquaintance. The firm accepted and will move forward with that case.

The Borders McLaughlin Family Violence Risk Assessment is a fact-based process that uses technology, analytics, and years of expertise to combine human behavior, and evidence-based solutions to high-risk cases.
