For Mental Health Professionals

What is a multi-disciplinary team?

Multi-disciplinary teams are formed when professionals from diverse disciplines come together to provide comprehensive assessment, consultation and investigation.  These teams can fulfill a variety of functions based on their diverse experience and knowledge.  They can provide a “checks and balances” mechanism to ensure the interests of all vested parties are addressed as well as identify any gaps or breakdowns between the individuals involved.  This approach can also speed up the investigation process because multiple areas of interest can be covered at one time by the professionals.

How does Borders, McLaughlin make this work?

Our multi-disciplinary team includes former law enforcement personnel, investigators, forensic interviewers, mental health clinicians, computer forensic examiners and legal professionals.  The partners and professional staff members that make up this firm have specialized experience which is not commonly found in similar firms.  Our risk assessment programs are highly developed, researched and tested for accuracy, for which we take great pride.  Borders, McLaughlin & Associates are recognized as industry leaders with expertise and experience even most experts cannot match.

When a client secures our services, they can be assured that their case will be handled with the utmost attention and dedication.  Most cases begin with a consultation, at which point the team will meet to discuss the tasks to be addressed and the appropriate delegation of these responsibilities.  Due to the varied expertise at our firm, a case can be investigated from multiple points of interest, all at the same time.  This increases the speed and accuracy of these complex cases, thus bringing a faster resolution end to an often lengthy and exhausting court process.

It is the goal of our firm to provide a thorough and comprehensive product to the client.  With the diverse expertise our team members bring, this goal can be accomplished with confidence in a timely manner.

Emails can be recovered, along with attachments and other documents.  Our in-house technology makes it easier than ever to search through data and conduct early assessments of the digital media in a cost saving manner.
