Borders McLaughlin offers in-house developed software solutions in the areas of behavioral mapping and computer forensics. Our technology team has developed an Early Assessment Tool used for computer forensics and electronic discovery.

Borders McLaughlin is in the process of developing the first of its kind child abuse predictive software.  Since abuse is a pattern of behavior, this technology will allow those working in child welfare, the legal system, mental health professional and others tasked with protecting children from abuse, the opportunity to make better decisions through evidence based practices and standardize protective measures.  This hybrid software will be web based and available for easy input on data devices like Blackberry’s, I-Phone and other smart technology devices.

The child abuse risk assessment module and sexual offender and pedophile modules will be developed separately as characteristics and patterns of these offenders are different.  The software will be licensed as “Software-as-a-Service" and will be available to professionals..
